LUKAS Palette Knife
There are palette knives, and then there are palette knives. This tooltip is about the latter.
I’ve used three types of metal palette knives for diorama products including the LUKAS Palette Knife from Italy. Out of all the palette knives I’ve worked with, LUKAS by far is the best.
In short, they are a joy to work with. The blades are super thin, with just the right amount of spring and flex.
The proper tool for the job makes the job a snap. We can use a tool that fights us all the way or use a tool that is purpose-designed and engineered for the job. Besides, one size or shape does not do all.
While working on the TRUMPETER Railway Base using AK DIORAMA CONCRETE, I used four (4) different sizes of palette knives, each for a different task.
